1,000 Backpacks Funded — Let’s Keep Going

Thanks to the generosity of our community, 1,000 Philadelphia students will start the school year with dignity, confidence, and the tools they need to succeed.

But the need doesn’t stop here.

Many schools are now requiring clear or transparent backpacks, adding additional supplies to the list, just more added costs that puts extra strain on families already facing financial hardship. Nonprofit partners are telling us the requests keep coming.
