This position will work under the direction of the Senior Reliability Engineer and Engineering Compliance Manager, the ideal candidate would help develop the Engineering Standards Program, support various maintenance and reliability engineering programs, and work with the Engineering Documents Office for drawing support. The candidate would learn how Facilities support biopharmaceutical drug development and maintain compliance with the FDA and other regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to various Maintenance and Reliability Engineering programs by creating processes, procedures, and database
  • Contribute to the Engineering Standards Program by creating templates, processes, flowcharts, etc.
  • Assist in assessing equipment performance and criticality analysis
  • Assist in conducting failure modes and effects analysis and creating a database of various failure modes
  • Participate in internal audits and update building CAD drawings as needed

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Degree in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
  • Interest in working for Biopharmaceutical company
  • Interest in reliability engineering methodologies and strategies such as RCM, TPM, Spare Parts Management, Planning & Scheduling, and Computerized Maintenance Management System optimization
  • Experience with data and data analytics
  • Able to work and interact with project teams
  • Able to work with Microsoft Office Tools; Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Note: This is an onsite, paid internship. This position is open to all students legally authorized to work in the United States. We are not able to offer visa sponsorship for internships. While housing is not provided by Seagen, we make every effort to connect fellow interns to arrange for joint housing and ride sharing.
