Genetic Science Learning Center -- The Genetic Science Learning Center is an outreach education program located in the midst of bioscience research at the University of Utah. Their mission is to help people understand how genetics affects their lives and society. This website offers teacher resources, lesson plans, professional development programs for K-12 teachers, and activities in the area of bioscience.

Growth in Science Teaching (GIST) -- The G.I.S.T Project provides participating teachers with the opportunity to reflect in meaningful ways on their instructional methodologies. Teachers participating in endorsement courses during the summer are invited/encouraged to participate in GIST. These teachers return to their classrooms and are encouraged to reflect on their practice via projects.

Intel in Your Community - Utah -- Intel Utah's goals are to improve science and math education in K-12, enable teachers to effectively use technology in the classroom to improve student learning, broaden access to technology, and encourage women and minorities to enter technical careers. Intel Utah supports grant programs, science fairs (including the annual Intel International Science and Engineering Fair), and technology in schools programs.

Utah BioHistory -- Learn about significant milestones in the historical development of Utah's biotechnology & medical technology industry.

Utah Parent Teachers Association (PTA) -- The Utah PTA's mission is to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the schools, in the community and before governmental bodies and other organizations that make decisions affecting children; to assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children; and to encourage parent and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

Utah Science Olympiad -- The Science Olympiad is an international nonprofit organization devoted to improving the quality of science education, increasing student interest in science and providing recognition for outstanding achievement in science education by both students and teachers. These goals are accomplished through classroom activities, research, training workshops and the encouragement of intramural, district, regional, state and national tournaments.

Utah Science Teachers Association (USTA) -- The USTA provides support and information for Utah's science teachers. This web site features information on science education news, professional development, and grants.
